Two +50 pound bass in one day? Is that possible? Yes it is, Captain David Goldman of Shore Catch Guide Service guided Bill Collins to this 54 pound striped bass on Tuesday morning 17 June. In the afternoon he guided Gary Cordovano to this 51 pound striped bass! Also pictured is Captain David holding the 54 pounder for a photo shot by Captain Gene Quigley of Shore Catch.

Here are two pictures of nearly identical size striped bass caught in June. One was caught in a historic, world famous fishing spot off of Cuttyhunk Island, Massuchesetts and the second was caught about one half mile off the Lavallette, NJ coast.
