 High Low Bait Rigs come with two (2) hooks and are available in three (3) variants:
- Saltwater: Measure ±48 inches in length, tied with 60 pound test Momoi Hi-Catch monofilament,150 pound test barrel swivels, top and bottom with two super sharp Gamakatsu hooks of your choice.
- Tournament Trophy™ Saltwater: Similar two hook rig design but tied with 80 pound test Momoi Hi-Catch monofilament and incorporate offshore fishing technology of coil spring line protectors and swaged sleeve assembly of the barrel swivels to withstand the higher tensile pressure from both casting and true trophy sized fish. Used by Team StriperSurf, the 2005 “Beating on the Beach” Tournament Champions.
- "BJPF" Boat, Jetty, Pier and Freshwater: The shorter version of the Saltwater Hiigh Low, it measures ±36 inches in length and can be used for drifting or anchored up in a boat, on a jetty, pier or any freshwater application.
Tournament Trophy™ Bait Rigs are used for livelining baitfish or eels as well as chunks/pieces of various baits. Each rig comes with our Heavy Duty, Braid Proof, Fish Finder slides, Duolock Snap and Slide Beads. Each set of these rigs also includes one 100 Lb test Coastlock Snap and welded ring Stainless Steel Ball Bearing Swivel to attach to your main line/leader. When ordering these rigs you can select not only the hook types and sizes but also the exact length of the rig itself.
Trophy™ "Slap Shot" Bait Rigs an improved Hatteras style rig with the best StriperSurf components and improved quality. The "Slap Shot" is designed for quickly setting the hook. It is especially good when fishing with your rod "spiked" in a rod holder. This is an ideal rig for Red or Black Drum because the bait is held close to the bottom where these fish predominately "grub and root" for food.
Made with dual leaders, the top leader is 24 inch long, a Fish Finder slide and beads is pre-mounted on the leader. The second (bottom) leader for the snelled hook is available in 6, 9 or 12 inch length. Each set of three rigs also includes a 100 Lb test Coastlock Snap and welded ring Stainless Steel Ball Bearing Swivel to attach to your main line/leader.
